The students of the Bachelor of Science in Security Management (BSISM) of Liceo de San Jacinto Foundation Incorporated (LSJFI) partook in the lecture activity, which was organized by the personnel of the Municipal Police Station of San Jacinto, Masbate under the leadership of Police Major Alfredo Lastrella Jr., on June 19.

The series of lecture focused on Republic Act 9262 and Executive Order 70. The former is the law on Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) while the latter is the regulation on institutionalizing the Whole-Nation-Approach to pave the way for the collective participation and action in harmonizing government development efforts and services to support, facilitate and pursue the country’s peace agenda. The students likewise gained knowledge and awareness on KKDAT (Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo) program.

Lastrella led the lecture participants in taking an oath of advocacy to play an active role in the promotion and implementation of these policies and the programs around them.
