To scout possible resources for improving its website, publications and other media, the Liceo de San Jacinto Office of Communication, Social Media and Public Relations (LSJ-OCSMPR) trains with enthusiasts of photography and cultural arts in Ticao, Masbate. Just one month ago, a local club, many of whose founders, officers and members are formerly and presently LSJ officials and employees, was organized to be called LADAWAN. Composed of creative photographers and videographers from Ticao, its present project is filming human interest subjects in the island depicting its culture for submission to the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

OCSMPR is looking forward to tapping the talent and expertise of Ladawan members for future trainings, seminars and insight sharing in the former’s works and activities in Liceo especially those for the enhacement of the editorial staff members of the school papers.

Some of the founders or officers of Ladawan are Manuel Altarejos, former LSJ president, Mark Anthony Almoete, LSJ photographer and Marion Capellan, LSJ General Services Specialist. Headed by Maria Michaela Letada Redito, most of its members are professional photographers and journalism graduates.
