Liceo de San Jacinto Accords Arrival Honor to Southern Luzon Naval Commander Wendelboy Buntag

An arrival honor was accorded to Cdr. Wendelboy Z. Buntag, Philippine Navy (General Staff Course), Commander of Naval Reserve Center-Southern Luzon,  during a training day at the quadrangle of Liceo de San Jacinto Foundation, Incorporated last March 3, 2024. The event was graced by Chief Petty Officer Philippine Navy (Reserve) Joris R. Gelotin, ROTC Coordinator, together with the training  staff, school administrators, ROTC officers of the school, and the 355th NROTC Unit-LSJFI.
Cdr. Buntag extended his warmest appreciation to the 355th NROTC Unit for its effort in honoring his arrival.
The arrival honor is one of the time-honored traditions of the military, customarily intended to esteem distinguished leaders and personalities.

Liceo de San Jacinto Conducts 1st Political Science Debate

Liceo de San Jacinto conducted its first ever Fourth-Year Political Science Debate last February 25, 2024, in which students presented various claims on specific topics supported by legal jurisprudence.

 

The debaters received standing ovations as they articulated their ideas with clarity and passion before the panelists, and their preparedness was astounding.

 

According to Crisedel Moya, Political Science Department dean, the fourth-year AB students are expected to always strive for excellence and to demonstrate that they are among the greatest debaters in all program courses.

 

 

Dean Moya thanked the AB professors for arranging the thought-provoking debate and for pushing the college to new heights.

College of Education Grooves on an Acquaintance Party

Hundreds of students of the College of Education of Liceo de San Jacinto had a joyful acquaintance social bash on December 21, 2023, at Plaza Añonuevo. Noticeable in the gathering is the fact that the college is going strong with its increasing population.

Exuberance Felt on College of Liberal Arts Acquaintance Party

Over 400 enthusiastic partygoers, mostly students, attended the acquaintance party of the College of Liberal Arts of Liceo de San Jacinto Foundation, Incorporated last November 27, 2023, at Plaza Anonuevo.

 

The activity raised awareness of how the College of Liberal Arts has been booming since its inception of 20 students, but now of over 400 students presently enrolled.  The college dean, Crisedel Moya, was optimistic the liberal arts college would continue to grow and turn out accomplishments.

 

Gracing the lively occasion were Dr. Monina S.  Moya, President; Melina G. Bartolay, Vice-president; Noe C. Esparrago, Chief of Staff; Crisedel Moya, College of Liberal Arts Dean; and some members of the college faculty.

 

Dean Moya joyfully recognized the effort of her staff particularly naming Jome Cabiles, Samuel Barruga, Rayn Alcantara, and Jhoyp Baguien with a special mention of BMOCCS headed by Joris Robles Gelotin and the fourth year Block A, Block B and Block C.
